About Natalie

Natalie has been working as an Occupational Therapist since 2005, with experience working across physical and mental health settings, leading her to her love of neurological rehabilitation where she has specialised in for the last 13 years.

Natalie has extensive experience working as a private OT since 2017 routinely completing comprehensive neurological assessments covering both physical and cognitive elements, using the findings to formulate a client goal centred treatment programme and implement said programme, gaining vast experience in formulating thorough reports of the assessments completed. Natalie worked as an associate case manager for 5 years alongside her OT role, so is very familiar with the specific requirements case managers have of private OTs to support clients going through the litigation process.

Natalie particularly enjoys formulating and implementing treatment programmes specialising in upper limb and cognitive rehabilitation, which, dependent on the clients goals, can be incorporated in functional rehabilitation to help improve their independence with self-case, domestic living, social or vocational aspects of their lives.

Before specialising in neurological rehabilitation, Natlie worked within the specialist area of burns and plastics for a year where she completed splinting in ITU, burns rehab ward, plastic inpatient ward and outpatients. Natalie completed scar management with the clients on the wards but also ran a scar management outpatient clinic during this time.

Aside from her clinical skills, Natalie prides herself on her ability to build excellent rapport with clients and their family members and her calm and friendly maner instantly puts people at ease.
