A new clothing company with a difference... The Able Label provides quality, comfortable clothes which are not only stylish but have all been specifically designed to make dressing easier for someone with dressing difficulties.

The range was inspired after founder Katie saw first-hand the difficulties her grandmother with Parkinson's faced dressing. At the time, she only needed a little extra support with dressing but hated the fact Katie’s grandfather had to help. She also still wanted to remain stylish, keeping her identity. Having searched together for alternative adaptive clothes that would meet both her functional and fashion needs, it soon became apparent that there was nothing suitable. Shocked by the lack of options, 

Katie decided to do something about this, drawing on her previous experience as a fashion buyer for popular high street retailer White Stuff. The Able Label was born to help all those in the same situation as Katie's grandmother, who do not want to, and should not have to sacrifice their style for functional clothes. You can now have both!

The range has been designed with an 'EasyFasten System' to help with a variety of needs including:

• Physical: no fiddly fastenings with buttons being replaced by hook and loop closures

• Cognitive: colour co-ordinating trims inside the garment enable triggers to aid the dressing process

• Emotional: stylish designs which encourage independence help to build self-confidence 

• Assisted dressing: wrap styles make dressing, quicker, easier and safer as well as more dignified allowing time saved to be spent on more productive areas such as talking to individual being cared for

The adaptations are so discrete though that you would never realise they were adaptive clothes, so it's our secret!
