An extract from the Adaptive OT Blog: 16/05/14 – OT Show Photo Shoot

"This week I attended a photo shoot for the OT Show, which is a conference for Occupational Therapists. I will be one of the ‘faces of the OT Show’. I must say, I am not overly photogenic, but I wanted to put across to people what I am trying to achieve with Adaptive OT, and if that means having a giant photo of me looking awkward at a professional show, so be it. I also met some really interesting people, with amazing backgrounds in a variety of fields. Networking like this and getting involved in professional conferences like the OT Show are great ways for Adaptive OT to keep up-to-date with the latest ideas, services, technology and innovations. We were also given a great opportunity to voice our opinions and I will continue to be a member of the focus groups influencing the future of the OT Show.

Despite the awkwardness, embarrassment and face ache during the actual photo shoot, it was all-in-all a really good day."
